By request: Favorite unscented moisturizer

I’ve mentioned it before… in Alaska in the winter, moisturizing is a must. Yesterday, a coworker asked me for a recommendation for her mom, who has terribly dry skin — and who can’t tolerate any scented products. Personally, I’m a big fan of The Body Shop’s body butters, and there are a few of them that are less heavily scented (olive is one of my favorites), but for totally unscented, all-natural skincare bliss with all-day anti-drying action, I’ve got one classic go-to.

L’Occitane 100% pure shea butter. Organic, fair trade, all-natural, non-greasy and free of fragrances. It ain’t cheap, but a little goes a long way, and that 5.2-oz. tin will last you a long, long time — even in Alaska. Put this on your hands and feet with some cotton gloves and socks before you go to bed at night, and you’ll wake up a new woman. I promise.
