My kid loves boots. Probably partly because we live in Alaska and most of her early shoes were boots, and probably partly because Mama loves boots and buys her a lot of them. In fact, it took her a long time to learn that not all shoes are “boots.”
Our favorite rain boots, by far, are these Tiny Toms.
Toms Tiny Toddlers Rain Boots come in a few colors. Hers are red.
They’re lined (you still want socks) and really solid. You see that big loop on the top of the shaft? That loop is the golden ticket. That loop is solid rubber, molded to the boot. That loop means my kid can pretty much get these boots on her own feet with no help. That loop is money.
I love that R loves to wear these boots, and I love that they’re good quality (one or more of her cousins, or maybe a hypothetical sibling down the road, will definitely get more wear out of these even though we’ve got countless hours of wear into them). I love even more that I got them on Zulily for a price break. And of course, it’s easy to feel good about Toms’ “One For One” mission.
I say “rain” boots, but she wants to wear them anytime she sees them. Including all summer long.
